Sneak Peek - Emma Swinging and Gracie's Roses

Good Morning!

Welcome to another day of sneak peeks here at the Whimsy Inspirations Blog! Tomorrow, May 5th, Whimsy Stamps will release more digital images to our Digital Stamp Collection! There will be 6 new images and lots of beautiful word art/sentiments too! We hope you'll join us for the release party starting at Noon EST!

Today I have two cards to share with you, one uses the new image Emma Swinging from Whimsy's Digital Stamps and the other uses Gracie's Roses from Crissy's Digi's at Whimsy Stamps. Sharon shared Gracie's Roses yesterday.

I had so much fun coloring both of these images, I can't wait for you to be able to use them too! Here is Emma...

This card uses the sketch from Friday Sketchers and some new Wild Asparagus papers in purples and greens. I colored the image with Copics and embellished with flowers and cherry blossoms, which you can purchase at Whimsy Stamps and some dew drops to finish it off.

And here is Gracie....

On this card I used more Wild Asparagus papers but this time in pinks and blush. The flowers are gardenias and roses and I've stitched the edges of the paper for added texture.

Thanks for dropping by today! Hope to see you tomorrow to celebrate our new digital release!

Happy Stamping,

Gracie's Roses - Sneak Peek

There's lots of excitement on the Whimsy design team at the moment. Why? Because on Wednesday 5th May there is a new release of Whimsy digital images - and I can tell you that they are all fantastic!

I was so excited that I couldn't wait to make a card with one of the images so that you could all have a sneak peek.

This is Gracie; isn't she just THE most gorgeous little girl? The image is called Gracie's Roses by Crissy Armstrong.

Please remember that Gracie isn't available yet, but you will be able to buy her on Wednesday. I hope you'll all be able to join us on Wednesday for a fun challenge and blog hop too, but in the meantime, keep your eyes on the Whimsy DT's blogs for more sneak peeks!

Thanks for looking and happy crafting!

Hugs,
Sharon xx

Share Your Space Sunday

Hi! my name is sue and I am part of the wonderful Whimsy Stamps designing team. We thought it would be fun to share with you what inspires and provides a special place for us to create all our whimsy creations! Therefore, the Design Team is going to be taking turns sharing with you our "creative areas". In addition, we would love to see our Whimsy fans' spaces too! would you care to share yours? where your "Mojo Magic" happens to create the beautiful things you do? IF so, then please share your link with us in the comments section on the This Sunday post so we can all find your blog and take a peek! Now, to give you a little background...we had just moved into a new rental home in March/2010....so things were a little discombobulated for a bit. However, the room was able to be put back together in a few days. Here are some before pictures:

....and here are the After pics:

Now, what I have found in my experience with creating my own space? don't organize the room to just "look good" know what I mean? Organize it in a way that works best for YOU. In my room, I did it totally for convenience. I wasn't going for aesthetics. Everything I have is put in place to grab, use and put back quickly. I LOVE THAT. That's my favorite part about it. I would say to create the room for you to enjoy. Since your the one that will be working in there the majority of the time. I've enjoyed sharing these pics with you and would love to see some more craft spaces. Please DO NOT feel pressured to share. It's just fun to visit each other's places. :) It doesn't have to be fancy! remember! it's what works!!
