Good morning Whimsy Fans!
Ellie here today, it's my turn to share a project with you today! I hope you will like it!
I made this card for the last Whimsy release, using the super adorable "Peggy" by Sylvia Zet.
Isn't she adorable??!! After stamping her I cut her and her little birdie friend out to fit my card.
The hills were made using an old creative memories cutting system. I adhered the different hill layerr with dimensionals.
The sky in the background is just some really old designer paper, that I had laying around from back when I was still scrapbooking. Wow, that must be at least 8 or 9 years old!!!
I simply embellished with some twine and a button, and then did some sewing. If you are thinking this card is missing something, you are right! It is missing the sentiment, which I didn't notice until I had it posted to my personal blog a couple of weeks ago. Oh well, I will probably just tuck a small sentiment under the button somehow before I give it away.
I hope I inspired you with my card today! A pretty easy card to recreate!
Thanks so much for visiting!

ReplyDeleteAbout the washi tape, no I haven't found any acid free yet. But, My Minds Eye recently came out with a line called indie chic..it seems their washi tape is acid free. We are memory keepers also has some new ones. But I haven't yet tested them. I love washi tape, I still have mine in a box. Not able to decide should I use them or not.
Meanwhile, I made my own! They came out pretty cute actually! I will be updating my blog with that today!
Thanks for visiting me!
