Combining Stamp Sets to Create a Unique Image

Hello, Whimsy fans!  Have you shopped the August release yet?  If not, hopefully my card will inspire you.

I paired the cute kitty from PURRe Love with a wreath from the Farmhouse Wreaths set.  First, I stamped the kitty with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then masked him before stamping the wreath.  After removing the mask, I colored everything with Copics, added a few highlights to the kitty with a white gel pen, and cut out the wreath.

With violet ink, I stamped the gorgeous, new Cherry Blossom Background stamp onto some matching cardstock.  I love the subtle look of tone-on-tone!  I trimmed down the panel with the Card Builder Windows Die Set.  With Versafine Onyx Black ink, I stamped a sentiment from PURRe Love and clear heat-embossed it.

I embossed a panel of green cardstock, trimmed it down to 4" x 5 1/4", and adhered it to a white card.  I popped up both the violet rectangle and my colored image with foam tape and finished with a few clear sequins.

Thanks for stopping by!  Don't forget about the free CAS set with each qualifying order.  Also, there's an "Anything Goes" Challenge going on now on the Challenge blog.  Come play along for a chance to win a gift certficate to the Whimsy shop!

Hugs, Andrea
