Whimsy Stamps VIDEO DT Call

Whimsy Stamps is in search of talented crafters, who love to post video tutorials, to join our NEW video DT!

Are you a crafter looking to contribute to a design team by creating with rubber stamps, clear stamps, and metal dies? Do you love sharing your artwork with others through videos? Are you a team player and willing to work along side other designers sharing your creativity? Are you organized and able to meet deadlines? If you answered YES to these questions, Whimsy Stamps is looking for you!

We’re searching for dependable, team-oriented crafters who have video filming and editing skills along with a passion for stamping and sharing ideas, techniques, tips, etc with others.

Whimsy Design Team Submission Details:

• full name
• contact info including email address and blog address, YouTube channel, (if you have one), Facebook page, any other relevant contact info
• attach 3 of your best creations and a link to current videos you have posted online

You can include cards, scrapbook pages, and/or altered items in your samples for consideration. If you have any Whimsy Stamps images, please use them, although this is not required. You DO NOT need to create anything new for this application.

• previous Design Team work
• published work
• any other artistic information you would like to share

*Previous Design Team and publication of work is not required for consideration, however we do need to see a sample video to evaluate relevance for our team.

Some coloring skills preferred as our rubber stamps are geared towards those who enjoy coloring images for their creations.

**Whimsy Video Design Team Member Requirements:
Your Design Team duties will last for a period of 5 months and will include at least one Whimsy related video project every other week (minimum of 2 per month). Please DO NOT try out if you are unable to make this commitment.

Because you will need to share your Whimsy creations, you are required to have the ability to photograph as well as video tape and post your creations online, including on our YouTube Channel. 

We have a Facebook group dedicated to the Design Team. As a team member, you would be granted access to this group. You are expected to join and participate in discussions with others as well as share suggestions or ideas. You will need to be an active member of the group/team.

As a Whimsy Stamps video designer, you will receive a selection of products to work with during your 5 month period. Each month, video team members will have the option to select up to $50 retail worth of Whimsy product for their 2 monthly videos. Video ideas and tutorials must be approved prior to the request for materials. Videos will be required to promote new as well as existing products from all of our collections/artists. If you are not willing to work with all the artists we carry, please do not apply.

Team members must be able to film and edit videos using their own equipment. You will be granted access to our YouTube channel for uploading videos. Team members are also encouraged to share these videos not only on our YouTube channel but also on their blogs, our blogs, Facebook pages, etc.

Team members must also provide photographs of finished projects for advertising purposes. All artwork created will be yours to keep, we do not need anything mailed to us. All products received in exchange for video project creation will be yours to keep and use forever. By joining the team you are agreeing to give Whimsy Stamps access/rights to use to all Whimsy related video work for the purpose of advertising and promotion of our products.
