My card today features the new Got Peepers Clear Stamps Set combined with the Slimline Marquee Die. I created a slimline card today cut to 8.5" x 3.5". To start, I first blended some Distress Oxide Inks (Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn, and Black Soot) onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. Once blended, I then splattered this piece lightly with water and blotted the excess dry with a paper towel.
I also splattered my background with some diluted Opaque White and Black Paints for some added interest. To create the shaker portion of my card, I diecut a piece of white card stock using the Slimline Marquee Die and then blended it with some Black Soot Distress Oxide Ink. Once this panel was dry, I then adhered clear acetate behind each window with some strong liquid adhesive.
I then stamped my sentiment in black ink after aligning it to where I could see if through one of my windows. Next, I added some 3D Foam Adhesive Tape behind my slimline panel and added some sequins and black and green seed beads for my embellishments. I love the contrast that these embellishments add to the card.
Lastly, I added all of my images with some 3D Foam Adhesive Squares to give some added dimension. I had stamped all of my images onto a separate piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb card stock with black ink and colored them with Copics. I used my Brother ScanN Cut to cut them out.

CUTENESS GALORE :)
ReplyDeleteLOVE your inky slimline triple shaker and sweet kitties!
Thank you for sharing and INSPIRING!
PS - I'm a movie addict, so how could I choose just one? Love my sci-fi (Star Trek, old & new), fantasy (Stardust, Lord of The Rings), love musicals (Seven Brides For Seven Brothers, The Sound of Music), love a good comedy (Spy, Jumanji, Blast From The Past), even love animated (The Emoji Movie, Coco), action, mystery, horror and more. As you can see, it's a hard choice, so I will say that tonight I'm watching The Martian (again).
Wonderful inking and coloring and those kitties are just so sweet!
ReplyDeleteAlso love that it's a shaker - my fave! I will watch 'Gladiator' any
time it's on! I'm a Russell Crowe fan and he's might fine in that
movie! LOL The Green Mile is another fave.
My favorite movie is Harry Potter--the first one. My kids who are now grown would laugh at this but it reminds me of the many nights that we spent cuddling under the covers reading the book out loud and then the wonder on their faces when they saw the book brought to life on the screen.
