It's so sweet to 'Bling Baby'

Hey everyone, Simonne here!

Just dropping by to share a card I made recenty with one of our brand new, just released, Whimsy Stamps Kenny K Collection rubber stamps - this sassy gal is called 'Bling Baby'.  It was quite a challenge to colour dark skin and afro hair, but I hope I did an okay job!  It's quite difficult to see in the photo, but I did use several Spica glitter pens to colour her jewellery and the rim of her glasses, so there is a nice subtle sparkle IRL! :o)  My sentiment is from the newly released The Good Life Tickets stamp set.

I seem to be constantly chasing my tail this week, LOL!, so I'm keeping this short and sweet!

Time For A Cook Out!

Welcome to the first official week of summer!   One of the things I look forward to every summer is cooking on the grill.  My husband jokes that I have taken over his title of “Grill Master”.   (Although judging by the chicken breasts I cooked earlier this week, my title might be in jeopardy.  Charcoal never hurt anyone, right?)

So sticking with the summer, grilling out theme, Melissa, of Meljen’s Designs, released the cutest BBQ themed digis on Whimsy Stamps today.    I made a card using the new image, BBQ Fixins.

Hello thanks for peeking in, I have been so busy with all the end of school activities including my sons High School Graduation and my daughters 6th grade promotion, everything went smooth and the kids are officially off for Summer!



Well its my turn to post on the Whimsy Inspirations Blog and I decided to share this card with you, this card was published on the Whimsy Magazine, did you see it?? Well she is Vickie Lee Vicious. She was colored with Copic Markers, I really wanted to make her in some kind of Hot Pink and these are the results :)!



My sentiment is also from Whimsy Stamps, I have used these so much on my cards and I Love them, these are the Party Mini Letter Seals Sentiments. The tag behind the flower arrangement is also from Whimsy Stamps and you can find it HERE!!
