Giddy up!!!

Here is a tent card I made I want to share with you.
I had so much fun coloring this awesome little fellow!

He is "Get along little doggie", a new release from
Meljen's Designs Digital Collection created by Melissa Jenkins,
I think he is just fabulous! I also used the "Giddy Up!" saying to go along.

I love how Melissa takes out the guesswork of placing shadows
and highlights, you just follow along, it flows nicely!

DPs are from Scrap Within Reach - Cambridge Collection
and are perfect fit for a boy/ cowboy theme

I colored it with Copics and added ribbon, stickles, eyelets and thread.
I also added a little bit of Diamond glaze to his nose.

Happy Crafting!

Ready...Steady...DUCK!

Hey everyone and happy Friday!  Quick post today to show you a card I made last week using "Ready, Set, Duck!" rubber stamp from the Crissy Armstrong Collection at Whimsy Stamps.  When I was creating the sentiment for this card, silly old me got the name of the stamp slightly wrong, oops!, so it reads 'ready, steady, duck!' but no matter, it still means the same, LOL!

Just to remind you that there is a 25% off sale across the whole of the Whimsy Stamps store (excluding custom designs) through to the end of August, so you can snag this stamp for the bargain price of $5.25 at the moment!

Hope you're having a wonderful day!

Hugs, Sem x

The Gift Horse

Hi to all of you happy crafters from Annika The Messy! :D I have a little fun and cheery card to share with you today. I've been itching to use Crissy's Gift Horse for a while - and now I finally did. Yay me!! lol

He/she is coloured with Copic Markers, I added plenty of gold Sakura Stardust Pen to the mane and tail and coated the hooves with Glossy Accents.

The tag is Whimsy stamp set called Fancy Friendship Tags and the little sentiment circle from Whimsy Circle Postmarks (totally in love with these!!).

I also did some quick decorating on inside using Birthday Letter Seals set - ADORE it!!! And I find a very little effort creating the inside panel really pays off.

That's all from me today - don't forget that there's still SALE on at Whimsy Stamps - everything is 25% off!!

Thanks for looking and happy crafting

Moonlit Ride

Evening friends! It's Rowena here again! I've just stopped by to show you a new make of mine with the gorgeous Moonlit Ride which you can now snag at 25% off!

I've used my copics to colour the image in but instead of stamping on regular white card I've stamped and directly coloured onto kraft cardstock-gives a really different effect so if you've not tried it you must have a little play!

I've kept the card really nice and simple and left the image speak for itself!

Don't forget to stock up at the Whimsy Sale! See ya soon guys!

Fairy Happy Mail

Happy Tuesday Everyone!! I hope you are all having a great start to your week!!  I am honored today to have the opportunity to share a couple of creations that I created with the fun Whimsy stamps!  Since Whimsy has both digital images and rubber stamps, I will be sharing one of each.

For my first creation, I decided to use the fun image from Whimsy stamps called Pear-tunia.  This image is a rubber stamp. The image just makes you smile with her cheesy smile and her big butt.  I used the
Midnight Madness sketch for last week.  The butt of my Pear-tunia is paper pieced with Cosmo Cricket Material Girl paper.  The rest for the dp is Basic Grey Lemonade.

The second cardI created with a Meljen's Designs Digital Image from Whimsy called Firefly fairy.  I just love this darling fairy. So fun to color!!!  The sentiment is from Whimsy Ticket sentiments (rubber stamp). I used the sketch from Sketch Saturday.  The dp is Afternoon Tea from SU.

I hope you enjoyed my creations today and that you too are inspired to create!

Have a great day!!

How do you like my signature?  Would you like one? Our very own Ann from Raindrop Echo Designs customizes signatures and watermarks.  They are available in the Whimsy store.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

....okay, so it's not really, LOL, as it's still technically Summer (althoug the temperatures in the SW of England sure don't feel summery!).  However, there are actually only just over 4 months left until Christmas 2010, and as I know we crafters like to be organised, I thought it would be a nice idea to share a card I made last Christmas using one of the adorable Snickerdoodle for Kids rubber stamps, designed by the awesome Crissy Armstrong, for a bit of Christmas inspiration.  This cutie is called 'Sledding with Marty and Max' and is available to buy HERE at the Whimsy Stamps store.

There are three stamps in the Snickerdoodles collection, and the best thing is that you can buy all 3 in one fabby bundle for the combined and discount price of $18.00 - that's a saving of $4.50 over buying them separately!!!  Edited to add:  As the 25% off sale is now on, these stamps are available to buy separately only.  However, they now cost the crazy prixe of $16.88 if you buy all three!

I also want to remind you about our AUGUST CHALLENGE that is running through the whole of August.  The theme is the easy-peasy one of 'Anything Goes', so get your Whimsy rubber or digis out and enter, as you could be the lucky recipient of 5 digi images of your choice!!!

Have a fab day, peeps, whatever you're up to!

Hugs,

Two cards to share...

Hello!
It's my turn to post on the Whimsy Inspirations blog again and I have two of my cards to share with you today. :)

On the first card I used three rubber stamps from the latest, July release: cute Jelly Bean designed by Crissy Armstrong and two stamps from the fabulous Birthday Letter Seals set designed by Ann Vento. I coloured the image with watercolour pencils.

On my second card I used a digital stamp from the July release; it is called Great Day to Fish. The sentiment is a rubber stamp from the "Moonlit Ride and accessories" set, both stamps have been designed by Crissy Armstrong. As usual, I coloured this image with watercolour pencils.

Thank you for stopping by today, I hope you all have a great weekend! :)

Hello! Just popping by to share a fun tunnel card I made.  I really almost wish I had someone to send it to!  I love the bright colors and fun accents! This is the front of the card. The sentiment is from the "I'm Sorry" digi sentiments set by Raindrop Echo Designs.  I used lots of nesties and an oval cutter too!
This is the inside.  I used Crissy Armstrong's, "Love Me Anyway?" for the main image.  The adorable little kitty is colored with Copics.  I finished with the sentiment from the "Love Me Anyway" digi sentiment set by Raindrop Echo Designs.  Papers inside are K& Co and outside are a combo of K&Co, and Basic Grey. Some old friends returning

Hello all! Ann here :)

Have you gotten caught up on all the Whimsy Stamps digital happenings lately? Well, if you haven't heard, we're bringing some of our old rubber stamps to live digitally!  Yes, that's right, some of my favorite stamps (like Furry Friends below) is now available as a digi.  You can check out the newly digitized (is that a word?) Animals here. I'm sure that most of you will be delighted to be able to combine and merge your favorite stamps into one fantastic creation!

Remember, we posted our new monthly challenge a few days ago.  Our challenge this month is Anything Goes (how easy can it get?).  To qualify for the prize, you must use a Whimsy Stamp somewhere in your creation.

Thanks for stopping by today!
