Hope everyone had a great holiday weekend celebrating the fourth of July! We actually saw the sun here in New Hampshire, which was pretty amazing! It made for a great weekend.
We have a new challenge for you today and this one is all about birthdays! Create a project with a birthday theme. It can be a happy birthday card or a scrapbook page of a recent birthday celebration or you could make a 3D/altered item to give as a birthday gift. Remember, you do not need to use a Whimsy Stamps image to join in our challenge, but of course if you do have one, we'd love to see you use it! Feel free to combine Whimsy Challenges with other blog challenges as well.
This week we have a new feature to announce! We will be choosing our favorite 3 projects to win the "I Made the Top 3 at Whimsy Challenges" badge (seen in the sidebar). We will also showcase those chosen 3 projects next Monday before we announce the new challenge. And, we will be on the lookout for a guest designer for 2 challenges in August!
To play along this week for a chance at our Top 3 and maybe a guest spot, please provide a direct link to your project using the Mr. Linky feature, by 8am EST next Monday, July 13th.

Hiya All, hope this card is acceptable, I've only used a stamped sentiment this time, I wanted to do a decoupage card. Love your new idea of the awards, gives us all an incentive.
